This flat version of the coveted HIGHLAND over-the-knee boot was a match made in heaven for me. A sexy boot that can easily function as an everyday shoe because of its comfort. “Over-the-knee,” “everyday,” and “comfort” are not usually found in the description of a single pair of footwear, but Stuart Weitzman definitely made it possible! This boot can function on outings with baby AND leave a fashionable impression when going somewhere special. The minimal heel and signature stretch suede make it a really, really comfortable boot. My other two over-the-knee boots rarely make it out of my closet, as those are more of the good-looking but not-so-comfortable kind to just get out on special occasions.

The LOWLAND looks amazing with pretty much anything: little skirts, skinny jeans or dresses. I also love that the lower heel tones the sexiness factor down a bit when pairing the boot with a mini-skirt, if you know what I mean. Not that there is anything wrong with a high-heeled over-the knee boot, but I’m not always into the mood for that. I also really love the little bow detail in the back. The shoe runs a little big; although I usually size up half a size when buying any kind of boot to make sure a thicker pair of sock can fit in the winter, it wasn’t necessary for this one. In the store, I looked at all the color variations and should mention that the “gray” color, if you should go for that, has an olive tone to it.

Also, if you want to check out an amazing short film starring Poppy Delevingne and Dylan Penn for Stuart Weitzman, you can see the video here. This is Julia Restoin Roitfeld’s directorial debut. A captivating meld of ’60s sensuality and modern day glamour, the film captures the attributes of the Stuart Weitzman woman – independent, confident, sexy and playful – in a visually seductive and cinematic fashion.
