Finding the right gifts can sometimes be tricky. I always try to find something special and something the person could really use or I search for an experience I could give the person such as concert tickets or tickets to a play or multiple course meal at their favorite restaurant.

Here are some gifts that I personally really like, that might give you ideas for your own gift list:

For kids:

These books are nicely illustrated and teach your kids about different parts of the world. I like traveling and would like to show all these places to my son even if it’s in a book first 😉

“This is London”

“A walk in New York”

“A walk in Paris”

The “Audrey” book is cute for little girls.

All books are available on www.amazon.com

SIAOMIMI Superhero cape available here.

MODERN-TWIST  Paris placemat and markers. Great also for taking out to a restaurant to keep little ones busy! Available here or on Amazon

MAILEG makes the cutest little mice.  This little prince mouse is too cute. These cute figures are available at Amazon as well.

I first wasn’t sure about the  CUBEBOT. My son really wanted it and it could have been something that he only would like for about 10  minutes and then it would be uninteresting, but he actually plays with this figure a lot. He uses it as an action figure and is busy with this toy for a while. Available at J.Crew.

This adorable Tutu by ATSUYO ET AKIKO is available at Estella NYC.

For the girls:

Special tea is always a good gift. I love all different kinds of teas and most of the people I know would appreciate an unusual blend of tea. This one is from Barney’s NYC.

A Mason Pearson hair brush in a pink or white, which is a more unusual color than the usual black, is something the person will have for a very long time. It’s the best brush I have ever had! The mix of of boars bristles and nylon is perfect for any hair type in my opinion. It’s a great brush that can be used for a sleek blowout, as it has a good pull.

This limited edition  TOM FORD metallic brown cream eyeshadow is a beautiful color that suits any eye color and complexion . The color called “spice” is a beautiful color for festive evenings and creates a great smokey eye in whatever intensity you wish depending on your application.

Stella McCartney Knickers of the week available here.

Jewelery by Jennifer Meyer. She has beautiful and simple pieces that can be worn everyday. This would be something to put on your own wishlist or a REALLY special gift for your mom. Jennifer Meyer makes beautiful “MOM” and letter pendants. You can see a lot of her collection here.

Dr. Hauschka makes great quality skincare, who wouldn’t love a great mask, an oil or a great moisturizer to look ones best during the winter months and late night festivities?! Available at Wholefoods.

A nice scarf can be a great gift, as it it can be worn as an accessory during summer and winter months depending on the thickness of the material you choose. Leopard is a “neutral” for me. The pattern goes with pretty much whatever you wear can dress up an outfit. I like scarfs for traveling too, so you can shield yourself from the sun in an airplane, which makes it easier to nap if you are traveling without kids.

A cookbook is another great gift. I love this one by Gwyneth Paltrow.
